Bahria CMS and LMS app: frequently asked questions
Straight answers about logging in, attendance, offline use and what this unofficial app is and is not.
Is this the official Bahria University CMS?
No. Bahria CMS is an independent, student-built companion app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bahria University. It shows your own data from the university's official CMS and LMS in a faster, mobile-friendly app; the official portals remain the source of truth.
How do I log in to Bahria CMS?
Enter your enrollment number (format 02-235232-019), your CMS password and choose your campus, then tap Sign in. These are the same details you use on the official CMS. If you forgot your password, reset it through the university's official CMS; this app cannot reset it for you.
What can I see in the app?
An At a Glance home screen, attendance for every course, your timetable, LMS assignments and lecture notes, grades and CGPA, exam seating, a weekly planner, course teachers with anonymous reviews, and notifications for classes and deadlines.
How does the attendance calculator work?
For each course the app reads your attendance record from the CMS and shows how many more classes you can miss before attendance drops below 75%, plus a projection of what your percentage becomes if you miss or attend the next class. It is a planning aid; your official attendance is whatever the university records.
Does it work offline, and can I install it?
Yes. The web app is a progressive web app: after your first visit it caches its shell and the data it has fetched, so your timetable, attendance and saved files open without a connection. You can install it from your browser's menu (Add to Home screen), and Android users can also download an APK.
Which campuses are supported?
Every campus in the sign-in campus picker, including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Health Sciences and IPP. Choose the campus your enrollment belongs to.
Is it free?
Yes. The app is free to use.
What happens to my login details?
You sign in with your CMS credentials, which the app uses to log in to Bahria's systems on your behalf through its own proxy (browsers cannot call the university directly). The fetched data is cached on your device for offline use. Because the app is unofficial, only use it if you are comfortable with that, and never share your password with anyone you do not trust.
Why does my data look different from the official CMS?
The app displays what the CMS and LMS return. If the university servers are slow or down, the app shows your last saved data with a 'last synced' notice instead. Pull to refresh to fetch the latest, and treat the official CMS as authoritative for any dispute.
